ABOUT THE FACILITY
OUR PRODUCTION FACILITY
TBE Biodiesel Agricultural Energy factory is located in İzmit Kartepe, Arslanbey Organized Industrial Zone.
In our facility, biodiesel and pure glycerin are produced from plant oils and waste plantal oils. All operations such as the operational and the tank area are kept under full control for 24 hours with the PLC-Scada system.
In our facility, which provides service 24 hours a day, 330 days a year, all equipment in the operational and tank area can be intervened with the PLC system.
In our facility, which has a storage capacity of 18,500 m³, product sales are carried out with an automatic counter system. Thanks to the national marker adding system, there are special tanks reserved for distribution companies.
Our factory has the latest technology fire extinguishing system.
In addition to the annual biodiesel production capacity of 50,000 tons, our facility produces 5000 tons of 99,8% pure glycerine used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY
In our quality control laboratory, raw material, intermediate and final products are analyzed in accordance with Turkish standards. Two chemists work in our laboratory. In addition, since all tests of biodiesel must be carried out in an accredited laboratory as per the legislation, all our analyzes are performed by an accredited company.
TESTS DONE IN OUR LABORATORY
MethtlEster, Water Test, Flash Point, Iodine Number, Metal Number, Saponification, Density, Refractometer. We have an agreement with an accredited laboratory to carry out all tests.
FIRE EXTINGUISHING AND PREVENTION SYSTEM
The fire system in our facility has been prepared by experts who provide consultancy to the petroleum industry, in accordance with international standards. The technical components that make up the system are:
- 1000 m³ capacity fire pool
- Fire hydrants
- Hose cabinets
- Fire Pump (2 diesel and 1 electric)
- Joker pump
- Foam blending system
- Foam and water lines
- Fog systems
- Choke system
- Cooling systems
- Spring systems
- Generator
Fire hydrants, water, and foam lines are available throughout the area. There is a sufficient number of heat-sensitive spring systems on each floor within the operational area. There is pumping station, tank site, and separate mobile foam generators at the and operational area. Special types of foams used in solvent and chemical fires are used in these generators. In order to protect the entire operational area against fire, all fire and operating units are supported by generators.
The facility and the tank area have a system of transmitting static electricity and grounding against electricity leakage, and a lightning rod against lightning. All of our personnel working at the facility have received fire training so that the first response can be made by our own team in case of danger, and the information is kept up-to-date with regular drills.
OUR QUALITY AND SERVICE APPROACH
The approval of TBE quality by all distribution companies in Türkiye and the selection of TBE as the "quality fuel" is a natural result of the "TBE Quality Assurance in Biodiesel".
TBE, which complies with the requirements and test methods for all the biodiesel TSEN 14214 Automotive Fuels – Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (YAME/BIODIZEL) diesel engines that it distributes, implements 3 different quality programs for quality assurance in order to offer high-quality products to its customers and thus offers biodiesel assurance to its customers.
